Duration: 2 Days
Price: From £395 Per Person
The Counter Terrorism Preparedness Practitioner course is designed for managers, supervisors, team leaders, duty managers and operational personnel who may have an involvement in terrorism related preparedness, but who are not directly responsible for owning the organisation’s counter terrorism risk assessment or protective security strategy.
The course bridges the gap between general awareness and the full SFJ Level 3 Award in Counter Terrorism Protective Security and Preparedness. It gives learners a practical understanding of terrorism threats, protective security principles, local vulnerability identification, preparedness planning and proportionate mitigation.
With Martyn’s Law placing greater emphasis on preparedness, emergency procedures and, for larger premises and events, measures to reduce vulnerability, this course helps supervisors understand how they can support implementation at site or team level.
