Counter Terrorism Preparedness Practitioner (Two Day)
The Counter Terrorism Awareness course is a one day programme designed for front line employees and customer facing teams working in environments that could be targeted by terrorism. It helps learners understand the current threat, recognise suspicious activity, report concerns, follow emergency procedures and play an active role in keeping colleagues, customers, visitors and the public safe.

Counter Terrorism Preparedness Practitioner (Two Day)
The Counter Terrorism Preparedness Practitioner course is a two day programme for operational personnel who may support terrorism related preparedness, but who are not directly responsible for owning the organisation’s counter terrorism strategy. It is suitable for duty managers, facilities teams, security teams, estates teams, operational leads and others who may help identify vulnerabilities, support local procedures, brief staff and implement proportionate protective security measures.

SFJ Level 3 Award in Counter Terrorism Protective Security and Preparedness (Five Day)
The SFJ Level 3 Award in Counter Terrorism Protective Security and Preparedness is the full five day Ofqual regulated qualification for individuals directly involved in counter terrorism protective security, terrorism risk assessment and preparedness planning. It provides a more formal and assessed route for those who need to understand the threat, identify vulnerabilities, recommend protective security measures and support organisational readiness for terrorism related risks.
Delivery Options
All courses can be delivered at Oakwood’s training centre at Hethel Engineering Centre in Norfolk or in house at the client’s location. In addition, the Awareness and Practitioner can be delivered virtually via MS Teams.
For organisations training multiple employees, in house or virtual delivery can be a cost effective way to build awareness and capability across teams, departments or sites. It also allows the course to be tailored to the client’s operating environment, premises, staff roles and specific risk profile.
