Mental health first aid training helps organisations create a more supportive workplace by developing employees who can recognise signs of mental health difficulty, have appropriate conversations and guide colleagues towards suitable support.
This training is not about turning employees into counsellors or clinicians. It is about giving people the confidence to notice when someone may be struggling, respond appropriately and understand how to support early intervention.

The Suicide First Aid through Understanding Suicide Intervention (SFA USI) course gives learners the knowledge and tools to understand that suicide is one of the most preventable deaths and some basic skills can help someone with thoughts of suicide stay safe from their thoughts and stay alive.
The programme teaches and practices the skills and knowledge needed to identify someone who may be thinking about suicide and competently intervene to help create suicide- safety as a first aid approach.

In addition to our Norfolk base, we regularly deliver this course in London, Birmingham and Scotland (Stirling).
