The Counter Terrorism Awareness course is designed for front line employees working in environments that could be targeted by terrorism, including publicly accessible premises, venues, education settings, hospitality, retail, visitor attractions, transport, healthcare, commercial buildings, residential accommodation and event environments.
With the introduction of The Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025, commonly known as Martyn’s Law, organisations are increasingly expected to demonstrate that staff understand the terrorism threat, know how to identify suspicious activity, and can respond appropriately during a terrorism related incident.
This one day course helps organisations build a stronger security culture by giving front line teams the awareness, confidence and practical knowledge needed to support protective security and preparedness.

This course is suitable for front line staff, including reception teams, concierge staff, customer facing employees, facilities teams, security officers, event staff, stewards, retail and hospitality teams, estates teams and those working in publicly accessible locations.
