Essential Business Continuity Knowledge:
Learn the core principles of business continuity and understand how organisations prepare for disruptions.
Risk Awareness: Develop the ability to identify potential threats and assess their impact.
Practical Skills: Master the basics of creating a Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and Business Continuity Plan (BCP).
On successful completion of the course, you'll receive two certificates:
1) An electronic certificate of completion issued by Oakwood Risk Training, which is downloadable as soon as you complete the course!
2) The Fundamentals of Business Continuity at QLS Level 4 – issued by our independent awarding body, the Skills and Education Group (The Quality Licence Scheme).
At the end of each module, you’ll complete a short quiz designed to reinforce key learning points and ensure understanding of the material. There is no limit to the number of attempts you can make, allowing you to revisit the content and retake the quiz as many times as needed to achieve a confident grasp of the subject matter. This flexible approach supports a stress-free learning experience and encourages continuous improvement.
The in person course is delivered over 1 day, with the session running from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
This course has a total qualification time of approximately 10 hours, combining guided learning through our online platform with self-directed study, including end of module quizzes.
You will have access to the online course for 12 months from the date of enrolment, and you may complete the course at any time within that period.
